Succession
“Caesar ruled until his assassination. Napoleon ruled until his exile. Hitler ruled until his suicide. Stalin ruled until his natural-death. Aleczaender rules forever.”
Under Zaenderism, there is technically, no Successor. I rule forever. But obviously, I don’t live forever - atleast not in this world. The process of Succession nonetheless is still an element which will exist. Under the Zaenderist Thought, for me, there is no retirement, there is no ‘death of my rule’, it will carry on regardless, dead or alive, unbreathing or breathing, absent or present. Following my leave, death, or other absence the Council of Zaenderism will takeover. The Council of Zaenderism will rule Zaenderism with total loyalty in mind - always. There will be no amendments, no removal or replacement of Zaenderism, no adaptions, no modernizations or progressions, nothing except the guidelines and directives outlined by myself. If the Council collapses, it will be reformed. If the movement infrastructure is destroyed, it will be rebuilt. Everything will continue through the ultimate will of the people.
The Council of Zaenderism will appoint a new leader/director (unless I already had one in mind to takeover). The Council of Zaenderism will guide the leader, who will hold autocratic power as I did. The Council of Zaenderism cannot be removed, disbanded, or disabled by the new leader, unlike myself who wields total and absolute power. My position as ‘Eternal Founder’ will never be replaced, nor will anyone ever hold a position above the Council. The Council also must respect the authority of a leader in any project, and the rule of an autocratic leader must be respected in all future projects with the exception of any Zaenderist entities. The Council will exist in the event of a Second Great Destruction to ensure the continuation of Zaenderism. It will also exist so that if one or few Councilmen betray the movement, atleast a theoretical majority will disagree and continue the movement. This creates a “checks and balances” system to ensure a leader who is not too powerful. However, the leader’s power should never be limited or stripped by the Council, and the Council should only ever activate to overrule the leader in the event that their ways have swayed from the Zaenderist Thought, or has acted in disloyalty towards me. New Councilmen are elected by vote from the Council, which the leader alongside a deputy the leader has appointed has a position on, and Council can be voted off by the Council. To become or run for Council, you must be a High Elder or higher. The majority vote must be over 50% of the Council. There may only be a maximum of 7 Councilmen, in total 9 on the Council if you include the leader and his deputy. Nothing in this paragraph applies to me (Aleczaender) but rather all Successions that come after me. The Council under my present leadership is simply an Inner Circle of advisors who assist in the daily runnings of the Zaenderist cause.
