Conduct, Discipline, and Loyalty
Conduct in the Imperium is simple to state and expected to be kept: respect the chain of command, treat fellow Octavians and new recruits with dignity, and never abuse whatever tools or authority you are given. This module points to where discipline actually lives rather than repeating it in full; the officer channels and the Pardon office hold the complete detail.
A minor infraction is met with a loyalty jack rather than an immediate demotion. They are not meant to be collected: too many draw Octavian Command's direct attention.
More serious or repeated matters go through Penance, run out of the Pardon office. Penance assigns a corrective task with a real deadline. Miss that deadline and the demotion that follows is automatic, not a judgment call made in the moment. Appeals against a punishment are also filed through Pardon, not argued out in a server's general chat.
One more system exists to watch power itself rather than the ranks below it: AEGIS watches for abuse of admin tools across every server. Its response to abuse is to disarm the offender and remove their access. It does not ban. That distinction matters: AEGIS exists to stop abuse of power quickly, not to hand out punishment that belongs to Penance or to a formal Judicial Ministry case.
