The Three Branches and the Ministries

The Imperium stands on three branches. The Army defends Octavium and holds the Armored, Gendarmeric, Shock, Teutonnian-Volunteers, Velites, Regulars, and Marines Divisions. The Legion enforces the law and holds the Guard, Inquisition, Police, Vanguard, and Order Cohorts. The Regime upholds the Imperium's administration.

Alongside the branches stand five Ministries, each governing a different part of civil life rather than a military function: the Administrative Ministry, the Judicial Ministry, the External Ministry, the Enterprise Ministry, and the Enlightenment Ministry. The Judicial Ministry in particular runs the Imperium's courts, and you will meet it again in the next module.

Every division and cohort keeps its own Discord server and its own activity requirements, and every one of them reports, in the end, through the same chain to Octavian Command. A division's rank tier chart uses the same numbers across every division for the same reason: a rank means the same thing wherever you hold it, even though the title in front of the number changes from branch to branch.
